My Priorities
What Mike Will Fight For
Six commitments to keep Cicero safe, fiscally sound, and moving forward.
These aren't just talking points — they're the issues Mike has worked on every day as Town Supervisor, and the ones he'll continue fighting for when re-elected.
Public Safety
Mike Aregano spent 21 years as a Cicero Police Officer and knows firsthand what it takes to keep our community safe. He will continue to support our police department with the resources, staffing, and training they need.
Mike will also work to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community, ensuring Cicero remains one of the safest towns in Central New York.
Fiscal Responsibility
Cicero taxpayers deserve a government that spends wisely and lives within its means. Mike is committed to keeping taxes low while delivering the services residents depend on.
He will pursue every available grant opportunity, eliminate wasteful spending, and ensure every dollar is accounted for — because it's your money, not the government's.
Smart Infrastructure Improvements
From roads and parks to town facilities, Mike will continue investing in the infrastructure that makes Cicero a great place to live and work.
He will prioritize projects that deliver the greatest value to residents, leverage state and federal funding wherever possible, and plan for the long-term needs of our growing community.
Veterans, Seniors & Firefighters
Our veterans answered the call when our country needed them — Cicero must answer the call for them.
Mike will fight to expand services and recognition for our veterans, ensure our seniors have access to the programs and support they need to age with dignity, and make certain our volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel have the equipment and resources to protect our community.
These are the people who built Cicero and keep it safe. They deserve our full support.
Mike will work to create new partnerships with local organizations to expand veteran and senior services, and will advocate at the county and state level for increased funding.
No veteran, senior, or first responder in Cicero should ever feel forgotten.
Transparency
Government works best when residents can see exactly what their elected officials are doing and why. Mike believes in open, honest communication with the community.
He will hold regular town halls, maintain an accessible online presence, and ensure that town meetings and decisions are easy for every resident to follow and understand.
Responsible Growth
Cicero is growing — and that growth must be managed thoughtfully to preserve the character and quality of life that make our town special.
Mike will work to attract responsible development that creates jobs and expands the tax base without overburdening our roads, schools, or services. Smart growth means a stronger Cicero for generations to come.
